Our Story
The spinning pendant was the foundation on which Suzannah built her business in 2018. Suzannah Key Jewellery creates meaningful, bespoke designs for a wide market and yet a few years on, the spinning pendant remains her bestselling product.
Suzannah created the first mini spinner when she lost her Mum to cancer. Using a ring she inherited, she remodelled it into a solid gold disk, scattering the diamonds from the ring like stars across one side and placing a pink sapphire on the other.
I would encourage anybody who has some sentimental jewellery that they don’t wear to remodel it like this. I really feel as though I carry a piece of her wherever I go. I change my disk from time to time but this will always be my most treasured way of wearing my mini spinner.
The spinning pendant was inspired by Suzannah’s passion for creating meaningful pieces which are unique, sentimental and last the test of time. Discovering that there was nothing on the market which created a truly personal product without compromising on quality, Suzannah set out to make one.
Influenced by her own commitment to sustainable, ‘waste-less’ living, Suzannah makes each pendant to order in the UK, using recycled sterling silver and gold, and semi precious responsibly sourced stones.
I wanted to create a product that was both meaningful and playful at the same time.
